Mold is a fungus that breaks down plant or animal matter, like food, wood, leaves and dirt. It's present in your home and outside of your home. It's even present in the places you work and the place's where you hang out at. Mold can even trigger an asthma attack.

Mold allergy symptoms vary from person to person, and rang from mild to severe. You may have year round symptoms or seasonal symptoms. Do you live in a damp area or do you live in a heavily wooded area where there is lots of leaves? If you live in those type of area's you are exposed to mold.

One way of testing if you are in a place where mold is present is if you are showing the symptoms above in the areas you are at. So when you leave the place that you are showing the symptoms are the irritants going away and when you return to the place do the symptom return. If so there is probably a large amount of mold in the area.

If you have any of these problems see an allergist for skin testing or a blood test to diagnose if you have a mold allergy.
